Kids celebrate the autumn season with colorful trees they make themselves!
This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - kindergarten / 3 - 5 years
You will need:
Directions
- Prepare for this activity in advance by cutting 1" squares out of orange, red, and yellow tissue paper.
- Paint each child’s palm and lower arm with washable brown paint. Then, have each child press his hand and arm onto a sheet of yellow construction paper (this will be the tree).
- Encourage children to decorate their trees with colorful leaves made of the crumpled tissue paper squares.
