Milk Jug Ball Catcher Example

Kids will love playing with these vibrant catchers…made from recycled milk jugs!

This activity is appropriate for:
pre-k - 3rd grade / 4 - 8 years

You will need:

Directions

  1. Have an adult help you cut the bottoms off the bottles. Once this is done, wash the bottles well and leave them out to dry.
  2. Decorate the outside of the bottles with craft tape and markers. Be sure to use tape to cover the edge!
  3. Make a simple ball out of crumpled-up newspaper. Wrap the ball in craft tape.
  4. Use the ball catchers to toss and catch the newspaper ball.
