milk jug ball catcher
Kids will love playing with these vibrant catchers…made from recycled milk jugs!
This activity is appropriate for:
pre-k - 3rd grade / 4 - 8 years
You will need:
- 2 empty plastic milk jugs or laundry detergent bottles
- Best-Buy Scissors
- Super-Safe Craft Tape Center - 1"
- Markers
- Newspaper
Directions
- Have an adult help you cut the bottoms off the bottles. Once this is done, wash the bottles well and leave them out to dry.
- Decorate the outside of the bottles with craft tape and markers. Be sure to use tape to cover the edge!
- Make a simple ball out of crumpled-up newspaper. Wrap the ball in craft tape.
- Use the ball catchers to toss and catch the newspaper ball.
