Clip Art Instructions for Windows
Downloading an individual image:
  1. Click on the image.
  2. The page for that image will open. Click "download now."
  3. A window will open, giving you the option to open or save the file.
  4. Click “save” to make the image available to import into a word processing or similar program.
  5. If you are using Internet Explorer, another window will open allowing you to specify where you would like to save the file.
  6. If you are using Firefox, the file will automatically be saved to the download location specified under Tools > Options > Downloads.
  7. For additional instructions on importing clip art, please consult your word processing program’s help center.
  8. Return to clip art.
Downloading a collection:
  1. Click on "Download All" for the collection you wish to download.
  2. A window will open, giving you the option to open or save the collection.
  3. Click “save” to make the collection available to import into a word processing or similar program.
  4. If you are using Internet Explorer, another window will open allowing you to specify where you would like to save the collection.
  5. If you are using Firefox, the collection will automatically be saved to the download location specified under Tools > Options > Downloads.
  6. Locate the file you just downloaded, and double-click it to launch WinZip.
  7. Click “extract” to unzip all the image files.
  8. A window will open allowing you to specify where you would like to save the files. You can click on the folder icon in the upper right corner to save all the images within a new folder.

  10. Return to clip art.

  4. You will need Stuffit Expander to extract the zipped file. To download Stuffit Expander for free, go to http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander.
  5. Locate the file you just downloaded, and double-click it.
  6. The images will automatically be extracted to a folder with the collection’s name in the same location as the zipped file.

  8. Return to clip art.
